Chris Brown has confessed his love for Rihanna over a romantic dinner.

While the Don't Wake Me Up singer - who is still on probation for beating her in 2009 - has recently appeared to be torn between the Diamonds singer and his former girlfriend Karrueche Tran, he took Rihanna out for a romantic meal in Los Angeles on Monday and swore his undying love for her.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "They had a little dinner downtown and he told her he loved her.

"They chilled for about an hour and a half and talked, and then she left to catch a flight to the east. He told her to 'stay warm' and 'travel safe' with everything that's going on the east coast.

"The night was a winning night for Chris. It was a good Monday for him, you know, a fresh way to start off the week."

It was previously revealed Brown, 23, plans to stay faithful to 24-year-old Rihanna while on his new tour of Europe and Africa because he wants to focus all his energy on his performances.

A source said: "When [he's] on tour, he won't be messing with other women. People always think that when [he] is away and out of the country, like he will be, that it's all fun and games. No, it's the opposite."

Taylor Lautner doesn't know if trust can be regained after infidelity.

The Twilight Saga actor's co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson recently rekindled their off-screen relationship after Pattinson, 26, forgave the 22-year-old actress for cheating on him but luckily for Lautner, he has never been in a similar situation.

When asked about the incident, he told American Cosmopolitan magazine: "To be honest, I've never been involved in any of those situations, so I don't know [if trust can be regained]. It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don't want to give that if I haven't even been there myself."

Lautner, 20, does believe it is possible to reconcile with a former lover.

"It depends on how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it's quite easy to rekindle," he said.

"I guess it depends on what damage has been done. There's no ex out there who I'm not friends with today, and I'm extremely thankful for that."

While Lautner is currently single, he knows exactly what he wants in a relationship.

"Honesty and loyalty are key. If two people can be honest with each other about everything, that's probably the biggest key to success," he said.

"I like to think of myself as very loyal, and I love everyone I surround myself with, whether they're friends or girlfriends or whatever. I love people."
