English rose Layla Subritzky, Melbourne law student Estelle Landy and house clown Benjamin Norris were revealed as the final three for Big Brother 2012 last night after a nailbiting double eviction.

With the grand finale tomorrow, the house was rocked by the shock eviction of ginger genius Michael Beveridge, who was the first contestant to enter the house and the red-hot favourite to win the competition from day one.

Country girl Zoe Westgarth was also booted out in the first double eviction of the series, receiving 14 per cent of votes to win.

Beveridge - who received 16 per cent - said he "fell apart" towards the end and waxed lyrical that his new relationship with Landy might have been the cause of his undoing.

A very uncomfortable Beveridge tried to dodge questioning about Landy but said that spending time one on one with her changed his tune regarding the gangster hippy who he previously stated "made his skin crawl".

He claimed that their relationship wasn't a strategic ploy and said they would "maybe" continue it outside the house.

Last night, Twitter exploded with hatred for Landy - with many fans of the show outraged she is still in the running for the $250,000 cash prize.

Beveridge was the theme of the night with Westgarth discussing her not-so-secret crush on the Brisbane copywriter with host Sonia Kruger during her post-eviction chat.

Despite locking horns with Landy over her budding romance with Beveridge in footage shown before the eviction, Westgarth said the pair left the house as mates.

During the recaps of the 85th day of the competition, the girls faced off over Beveridge in a very awkward group conversation, with Westgarth telling Landy she should "stick with Ryan", her previous romance in the house.

The Big Brother grand finale airs tomorrow at 7pm on Nine/WIN.
