Four talented West Australians will fight it out in the next round of The X Factor after Perth schoolgirl Veronica Bravo made it through during the final round of auditions last night.

Bravo, who is in her final year at Mercedes College, performed a heartfelt rendition of The Jackson 5's I'll Be There, which saw the judging panel on the hit reality talent search lavish praise on the bubbly 17-year-old.

"You have a beautiful voice," Ronan Keating gushed, while Mel B was clearly stunned, saying: "Wow, just wow."

"Everyone will fall in love with her," added Natalie Bassingthwaighte.

Bravo told AAA she was nervous about auditioning because she had already tried out and had made it to Boot Camp on last year's series before being sent home.

"I was only 15 when I auditioned for the first time so I was I too young, I think," Bravo said.

"Before I got on stage this time I was more nervous because I thought they would be expecting so much more because I have had a year to improve. I thought I had to be better; I had to show them I had improved and deserved a spot in this year's X Factor.

"I guess the judges have higher expectations of me because it is my second shot."

With this year's X Factor also looking to put together a supergroup after the success of One Direction, which was formed from contestants in the British version of the series, Bravo said she would happily be part of a girl group.

"It would be something I would definitely say yes to. It would be an amazing opportunity," she said.

"If I get put in a group I guess I would just have to work hard to show off my voice and my personality. I wouldn't let anyone stop that."

Joining Bravo in Boot Camp, which will begin airing on Monday at 7.30pm on Seven/ GWN7, are East Fremantle's Matt Gresham, Merriwa's Josh Brookes and Morley's Samantha Jade.

"They are amazing people," Bravo said. "Matt Gresham is an incredible musician; he made me cry when he sang."
