Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald is pregnant with her second child.
The Boardwalk Empire star and her husband, Travis rocker Dougie Payne, are already parents to four-year-old son Freddie.
Macdonald tells the September issue of Britain's Red magazine she is due to give birth in December - and reveals some details of family life.
"We don't have a nanny, and Dougie is completely hands-on," she says. "I'm actually a tiny bit jealous of their relationship. Freddie is such a daddy's boy.
"But Dougie is the most supportive husband, he's amazing. The best thing I ever did was bump into him."
Macdonald, 36, plays young Irish widow Margarat Schroeder in Boardwalk Empire, which is set in Prohibition-era Atlantic City. The third season of the hit drama will premiere in the US on September 16.
Macdonald says Payne buys her a ring to mark each new season of the show.
"We joke that I'm going to end up with an extremely heavy right arm, or lose the use of my third finger on that hand completely," she says.
Macdonald, who also voiced the character of Merida in the latest Pixar animated feature film Brave, spends a lot of time in the US these days.
She tells the September issue of UK magazine Marie Claire that when she feels homesick she takes a walk in New York's Central Park to lift her spirits.
"In summer my son and I eat French bread, cheese and olives here," she says of her trips to Central Park. "It makes me feel closer to Europe."
But she loves Halloween in America, relishing the opportunity to experiment with clothes from her eclectic wardrobe.
"I dressed up as Calamity Jane for Halloween once," she says. "And I didn't have to buy a thing - it was all in my wardrobe!"
