Perth turned on another blue sky day for visiting celebrity *Robert De Niro *and his family who spent the past couple of days like any normal tourists, enjoying the sunshine and river, and wining and dining.

After Sunday night's official opening party for 280 A-listers at *Nobu Perth *, the two-time Academy Award-winning actor spent the day onboard *James Packer *'s * *super yacht Infinity on Monday before returning to his restaurant for a Japanese dinner that night.

Yesterday, he and wife *Grace Hightower De Niro *enjoyed an Italian lunch from one of the Burswood Entertainment Complex's signature restaurants Modo Mio in the alfresco summer dining room of his fabulous digs in one of the property's ultra luxurious mansions.

De Niro ate penne arrabbiata and his wife chose the tagliatelle followed by barramundi.

They also enjoyed the wines - Canella Prosecco and Castellari Bergaglio Gavi Di Tassarolo - so much so they bought a couple of bottles to take home.

With a big, fat cigar to finish, De Niro looked just like a character from one of his many movies.

And no doubt the souvenir he left for Modo Mio will be framed and hanging in a prominent position before too long. As a parting gesture he signed one of the restaurant's menus, above, in Italian saying "Buono. Grazie. Bob De Niro."
