ARIA award-winning singer/songwriter Megan Washington will reportedly return home to Australia from New York for a role on The Voice.

Washington, Ricki-Lee Coulter and Darren Hayes have joined Nine's new talent show, according to News Limited papers.

The Daily Telegraph says Washington will help mentor Keith Urban's contestants, Coulter will be teamed with Seal and Hayes has agreed to be a mentor with Delta Goodrem.

Joel Madden's twin Benji will reportedly head to Sydney to help out his brother on the show.

Coulter, a former Australian Idol contestant, believes she has the experience to give aspiring singers the right advice.

"I have been doing this for eight years and I believe he (Seal) wanted someone who knows everything there is about the market here," Coulter told the Daily Telegraph.

Meanwhile, former Savage Garden singer Hayes has some advice for the contestants.

"They all have this assumption that fame will make them instantly rich and there's no guarantee of that," Hayes told the newspaper.

The Voice is expected to begin airing next month.
