Depp and Heard’s Cirque date night
It’s been a difficult few weeks forJohnny Depp but he appeared to put any drama behind him as he took in a performance of Cirque du Soleil’s latest show at the weekend.
The actor, who is filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales on the Gold Coast, took his wife,Amber Heard , to see Totem in Brisbane on Saturday night.
The couple spent 20 minutes at intermission talking with the cast and crew and posing for photos, and after the performance went backstage to chat with the performers. Depp is said to have told cast members the show, which will arrive inPerth on July 31, was one of the best he had ever seen.
The appearance puts to bed speculation of a split between the newlyweds after reports emerged last week their marriage was in trouble and Depp had walked off the set to follow Heard back to the US.
This month, it was revealed the star had illegally brought his pups Pistol and Boo into Australia. Heard reportedly took the pooches back to the US but it appears she has already jetted back to be by her husband’s side.
