Costarella’s style tempts Charlize
He has dressed some of the world’s top celebrity fashionistas such as Tyra Banks, Rihanna, Dita Von Teese and Dannii Minogue, and now Charlize Theron has hand-picked leading Perth designer Aurelio Costarella to dress her for a new campaign.
Theron is the face of Capitol Grand and brand ambassador of Melbourne’s first six-star residential and luxury retail destination.
The Oscar winner has shot a short film with the campaign tagline Lead Me into Temptation for the new Capitol Grand $500 million development.
Theron chose a handful of Australian designers who she thought best suited the campaign. But it was North Perth- based Costarella’s Lamour asymmetrical gown in a silk satin that fitted the theme perfectly for the main campaign image as she takes a bite from the apple of temptation.
The shoot was done in Hollywood during January with the Costarella gown chosen as a key piece.
