Taylor Swift tracks down superfan

Taylor Swift has surprised one of her most dedicated fans by tracking her down in line after she waited 20 hours.

The Blank Space hitmaker paid a visit to Radio 1's Breakfast Show in London earlier this week.

When superfan Sinead Murray found out about the appearance she decided to wait for Swift outside the studio, starting at 12pm (local time) on Monday.

During her 20 hours in the cold, Murray posted pictures and sent out updates to her social media accounts, including her Tumblr blog.

When Swift arrived at the studio at around 8am (local time) on Tuesday, she immediately asked for Murray.

"Her publicist came over to me and said, 'Are you Sinead?'" Murray tells Buzzfeed.com.

"A few minutes later Taylor Swift was coming towards me! She said: 'Hey Sinead!' And I was freaking out because she knew my name.

"I am completely blown away that my idol wanted to meet me and I can't thank her enough. She's even more of an angel in person - if that's at all possible."

Swift won her first BRIT for International Female Artist on Wednesday night.
