Perth model mates catch up
They entered the *Perth * modelling scene together as fresh-faced teens and it appears *Nicole Trunfio *, *Jessica Gomes *and *Gemma Ward *have only grown closer with age.
The *WA *-raised beauties made time to catch up in Sydney earlier this week, heading out to Palm Beach hotspot The Boatshed for a casual get-together over lunch.
More than 10 years since they began their modelling careers, the women likely would have had plenty to catch up on.
After a successful year work-wise, Trunfio recently announced she was seven months pregnant with her first child and was also celebrating her engagement to US musician *Gary Clark Jr *.
Meanwhile, Ward gave birth to daughter *Naia * with model partner *David Letts *last year and made her international catwalk comeback a few months ago when she walked the runway for Prada.
Gomes has continued to shine as the face of David Jones but she will take on a new role as the godmother of Trunfio's baby early next year, as announced by the mother-to-be last month.
Photographed as the trio walked to lunch, Trunfio looked radiant as she cradled her growing bump while the other two beauties laughed beside her.
The trip Down Under will likely be the last for the 28-year-old before she gives birth after she jetted back to her base in New York the following day.
It is unknown whether she will have the baby in the Big Apple or in Texas, where she and her fiance have a home.
Gomes also joined her pal back in the States and the pair took in a basketball game in New York on their return before celebrating Trunfio's baby shower with other prominent models including *Jessica Hart * and *Zippora Seven * on Thursday (WA time).
Pictures surfaced on Instagram of the friends gallivanting around the city in blue onesies, eating pizza and posing with two firemen, who rescued them after they were stuck in a lift for 20 minutes.
In another shot, Trunfio shared a snap of the lace dress and flower crown she wore for the occasion and thanked "all of the beautiful women" in her life who came to the party.
It's the second baby shower for the brunette, who also had an Australian bash in Sydney last month.
