Sexy Angels soar

Supermodels, million- dollar bras, rhinestones and glitter galore - it could only be a Victoria's Secret catwalk show.

The US lingerie label took its annual spectacle to London for the first time on Tuesday, dazzling guests with a high-octane mix of fashion and entertainment that featured 47 extravagantly dressed models and performances by pop princess *Taylor Swift *.

Models sashayed down the catwalk wearing lingerie paired with sparkly, over-the-top costumes: think giant butterfly wings, full feather skirts, gold knee-high stiletto boots . . .

Top models *Adriana Lima *and *Alessandra Ambrosio *donned the brand's "fantasy bras" - encrusted with thousands of jewels and worth $US2 million ($2.38 million) each - and *Karlie Kloss *wore gilded angel wings made of 18-carat gold.

Unlike most mainstream fashion shows, models walking for the lingerie label are told to have fun and flirt with the audience.

They also got to wink and laugh as they shared the stage with Swift, who appeared in a pink-and-black lace outfit for her performance of chart-topper Blank Space.

For her second song Style, Swift and her BFF Kloss sauntered down the runway in matching black lacy lingerie.

This year once again featured Melbourne-raised model *Shanina Shaik *, who flaunted her toned body in skimpy briefs and a colourful bustier top and then attended the afterparty with on-off model beau *Tyson Beckford *.

Shaik was the only Aussie model to feature after Swift allegedly had *Jessica Hart *banned from the Victoria's Secret fashion show.

Swift reportedly agreed to perform at the annual lingerie showcase for the second consecutive year only on condition that the 28-year-old Australian, who has modelled for the brand in the past, wouldn't be appearing on the catwalk.

"It's not been announced that Jessica is not walking but it was a direct request from Taylor that this be the case if she were to go," a source said.

Relations soured between them after last year's event in New York because Hart said Swift "didn't fit" as a performer at the event.

Hart said at the time: "God bless her (Taylor Swift's) heart. I think she's great. But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that."

The 24-year-old pop superstar is said to have made sure Hart wasn't appearing at the event in London before signing her contract.

The insider told the New York Daily News: "No one can know that Taylor requested Ms Hart not be in the show; they want to keep that under wraps but that's the facts."
