Southbound sets 2015 line-up

Big-name international acts such as English rockers Alt-J, German duo Milky Chance, uber-producer Jamie XX and post-dubstep king SBTRKT are set to herald in the new year at the next Southbound festival.

The first line-up to be announced for the popular Busselton event also includes Glass Animals, Joey Bada$$, Run the Jewels, the Black Lips, Cold War Kids and Royksopp & Robyn.

Bluejuice will play their last ever festival shows, while Vance Joy, Jagwar Ma, the Presets, DMAs, Spiderbait, the Temper Trap, Safia, Sticky Fingers, John Butler Trio and Kim Churchill also lead the Aussie contingent.

A summer festival would not be complete without a throwback act, with New York hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa confirmed to return to WA following their 2010 Good Vibrations appearance.

George Ezra, the Kite String Tangle, Movement, Remi, Tkay Maidza, Todd Terje, Tycho and Wolf Alice round out a solid and diverse first release of acts, with more to be announced.

Southbound will be held at the usual Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton on January 3-4. Festival-goers will be able to drive their cars on to the campground and park next to their site this year.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday at 9am via Moshtix.
