Jack Darling declares love match
West Coast Eagles forward Jack Darling has announced his engagement after he proposed to girlfriend Courtney Braham at the weekend.
The 22-year-old, who has just signed a new contract with the Eagles, posted the news on his Facebook page and Instagram account, along with a photograph with his new fiancee, who was proudly displaying her engagement ring.
"Happiest man in the world. She said yes!! #sundayfunday #engagement #fiance," he posted.
Darling's Eagles teammate ruckman Scott Lycett posted his congratulations to the pair and the West Coast Eagles' Twitter account shared the news with its 38,000 followers last night.
"Jack Darling got engaged to the love of his life yesterday, and signed a contract with us today. He's a keeper. #bigweek," the message read.
