Bachelor couple deny meeting
Australia's inaugural Bachelor Tim Robards has denied knowing Anna Heinrich before they met on the reality dating show last year.
A photo has emerged of the couple in matching red outfits with their arms around each other's waists in 2011 at a Vodafone party in Sydney.
But Robards, 30, and Heinrich, 27, have insisted they do not remember the party.
"I don't even remember meeting her," Robards told a Sydney radio show yesterday of his now girlfriend of almost a year.
"It was because I had blonde hair and he actually didn't like blondes before he met me," Heinrich added.
The couple, below left, said they had recently taken the step of moving in together but they didn't want to rush into marriage or children.
"I don't think we'd be together now if (marriage) wasn't in the future," Heinrich said.
"I do want them (kids) with Tim but just not yet. I don't know. I'm not ready. I still feel quite young."
The second season of The Bachelor Australia, featuring Perth auctioneer and former topless waiter Blake Garvey begins on Ten on July 30.
