Manu's mad over wedding rumours

M *anu Feildel * has rubbished reports he had secretly wed *Perth * jewellery designer *Clarissa Weerasena *.

Fuelled by a story published in Woman's Day, rumours began swirling yesterday that the My Kitchen Rules judge and his fiancee tied the knot on a visit to Malaysia in February, in a traditional ceremony in front of Weerasena's family.

The article claimed several "sources" spilled the beans on the nuptials at the opening party for Feildel's new Melbourne restaurant Le Grand Cirque last week.

However, the celebrity chef was quick to deny the reports and took aim at the magazine journalist who penned the story.

"Despite false reports Clarissa and I have wed in secret, this is as usual more lies from *Jonathan Marshall *and Woman's Day. But thanks for mentioning Le Grand Cirque, come one, come all...!," Feildel wrote on his Facebook page.

Together for three years, the pair became engaged on a trip to Hong Kong in November.

And though they won't be heading down the aisle just yet, the couple appeared smitten in photos from the French-themed restaurant launch, where they can be seen smooching in front of onlookers, boogying on the dance floor and embracing on the black carpet, with Weerasena's large diamond ring clearly visible.

Feildel thanked his "life partner" in his speech and later spoke of his joy at how everything was working out.

"I'm settled in every way in my life now," the Frenchman, who was also celebrating his 41st birthday at the event, said. "I think I've got just about everything I want at the moment."
