The West

how to Love

This debut novel from Katie Cotugno portrays first love in all its messy, complicated glory.

Sawyer was Reena's childhood crush. She never expected anything to come of it but for a short period they get together.

Then Sawyer abruptly departs one night, leaving his family, home, job — and a pregnant Reena.

Three years later Reena moves on with her daughter and a loving boyfriend.

Then Sawyer reappears as suddenly as he left. But while her brain doesn't want to get involved with him again, her heart has a different idea.

Despite being slightly predictable, this is an enjoyable and well-written novel.
