TV boss proposes to Wyllie
Valentine's Day brought out the romantic in everyone across the country including former Nine Network boss Jeff Browne, who seized the day by proposing to Perth business- woman Rhonda Wyllie.
The couple, who are in Melbourne, were enjoying an intimate candlelit Italian dinner at St Kilda institution Cafe Di Stasio when Mr Browne popped the question, presenting Australia's second-richest woman with a stunning diamond solitaire ring. "We are both very excited," Ms Wyllie told _The West Australian _ from a suite at The Crown.
"And both of our families are just as thrilled for us, too," Mr Browne added.
No wedding date has been set, but it has been almost a year since the couple met on a blind date at The Logies.
The proposal comes just after they moved into Ms Wyllie's riverfront home in Mosman Park, which has had a multimillion-dollar renovation.
The couple will divide their time between Perth and Sydney, where Mr Browne owns a luxury apartment at Bondi Beach.
