Grinspoon take a break
After 18 years, seven albums, 13 ARIA Award nominations and more than 1000 shows, Australian rock favourites Grinspoon are taking a break.
"It's fair to say Grinspoon have earned time off," read a statement from the Lismore, NSW band's management, which added that the quartet were taking "a long-term, indefinite break".
Founding members Phil Jamieson, Pat Davern, Joe Hansen and Kristian Hopes - the 'Spoon never changed their line-up - are "going on hiatus to pursue individual projects for the foreseeable future".
