Victoria Beckham won't be joining the Spice Girls on their supposed Australian tour in 2014, says her representative.
On Wednesday, 2DayFM breakfast radio duo Kyle and Jackie O made an "exclusive" and unconfirmed announcement on their show.
"This is very much an exclusive announcement that I have heard about," Jackie O told listeners.
"All the Spice Girls will be touring Australia. No official announcement has been made, but I have a source, a very reliable source."
After Kyle Sandilands questioned if the source was their friend Mel B, who has recently relocated from Sydney to Los Angeles, Jackie O replied: "I cannot reveal my source, but a very, very good source and yes, they'll be touring next year, here in Australia . . . including Posh."
The 38-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer was rumoured to be jumping back into the girl group with former bandmates Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm.
But a spokesperson for Beckham has dismissed the claim, insisting the mother-of-four is simply too busy with her family and budding fashion career.
"Victoria has no plans to tour with the Spice Girls in 2014. Her future focus concerns her family and fashion business," her representative told UK newspaper The Sun.
The Beckham family have recently moved from the US to the UK after David Beckham left the Los Angeles Galaxy and signed with French team Paris Saint-Germain.
