Uta Uber Kool Ja is Eurotrash who thinks she is a treasure.

The rock-star alter ego of Sydney stage and screen actress Georgina Symes, Uta Uber Kool Ja is a demanding diva who throws an after-party for 30 guests in a Perth hotel room, one of the more unusual venues in this year's Fringe World.

With long-suffering PA George, show co-creator Nic Dorward, she dispenses bubbly and bitchy observations about fame, fortune and the bottom of the barrel.

The immersive show about the cult of celebrity has won awards at fringes in Adelaide and Melbourne and is causing a similar buzz at the Riverview Hotel.

"No televisions have been hurled through the window but Uta tells stories of that," Symes said.

She said the character was a parody of trashy pop stars, frustrated ambition and failure.
