It seems Americans aren't the only ones to feel the love from US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
The 54-year-old actress/comedian - who is bringing her popular chat show to Australia in March - announced on Twitter earlier today that some lucky Aussies will be handpicked for an all-expenses-paid trip to the US.
"Tomorrow's a big day, Australia. If you're near the Sydney Opera House, you may wanna pack a bag and get your passport ready. Seriously (sic)," she tweeted.
"Before I go down under, someone in Sydney's gonna have a chance to come up over. I hope you're free tomorrow at 9.30am."
Since DeGeneres revealed she would host her self-titled show in Melbourne, there have been numerous social media campaigns about which Aussie star should feature on her show as a celebrity guest, with Balcatta tradie turned pop star Johnny Ruffo among those trending on Twitter last week.
Ruffo's Melbourne fans were so adamant that the former X Factor contestant should appear on the show that a swarm of "Ruffinators" turned out for a special flash mob dance performance outside the MCG today.
