Hugh Jackman's wife is still over the moon about his Golden Globes win.
Deborra-Lee Furness spoke with Nova 969's Fitzy and Wippa on Tuesday and said that despite the confidence she and their friends had in Jackman, it was an emotional moment when Jennifer Garner read out his name.
"Everyone was so supportive, it was like barracking for your favourite footy team," she told the Sydney radio team.
Jackman won the award for best actor in a musical or comedy category at the ceremony in the Beverly Hilton Hotel, which is Tinseltown's biggest pre-Oscars awards show.
Furness said the atmosphere at the Golden Globes is much more relaxed than the Oscars.
"It's a good fun night and everyone is wandering around with little bottles of Moet that you're all drinking out of the bottles," she said, laughing.
The actress said they had some time at the after-party to celebrate, but then Jackman was on a plane to his latest movie set in Atlanta, while she was flying back to New York to be with their family.
Jackman won the Golden Globe for his performance as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables.
He's often described as a "triple threat" because he can act, sing and dance, and Furness told Nova he was also a wonderful cook.
"He actually makes a fantastic crepes suzette; he's pretty damn good in the kitchen," she said.
But she said he was not really handy around the house.
"I'm much better with a tool belt."
