Glitz, glamour and all things gold took hold at Gold Bar's VIP Christmas bash on Wednesday, but it was the arrival of Irish newlyweds Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams that stole the night.
The celebrity couple were in Perth this week for a brief visit before returning to their native Ireland to enjoy a white Christmas with family.
Williams joked to AAA that she and McFadden had anticipated difficulties lugging six big cases back home but said they were excited to be in Perth, which was the first pit stop ahead of a two-day stopover in Dubai.
Regular faces from Perth's social scene also turned out to celebrate the festivities, including businessman Malcolm Day, WA illusionists Adam and Selena Murby, boxers Erin McGowan and Ray Fazio, while Australia's Got Talent finalist Clara Helms entertained guests with Christmas tunes.
Russian-born millionaire Zhenya Tsvetnenko also made an appearance but was without his pregnant wife Lydia, who was at home resting.
With the pending birth just a month away, Tsvetnenko told AAA that the couple were expecting a girl, though they were planning to keep names under wraps.
Despite hitting the headlines after his West Leederville offices were raided by Federal Police just hours before the glitzy party kicked off, Perth Glory boss Tony Sage still managed to make an appearance but tried to keep a low profile for most of the night.
