Stolen sperm art put on eBay
A stolen Banksy artwork depicting 15 sperm swimming around a sprinkler alarm was put up for sale on eBay, a court was told.
In London's Southwark Crown Court yesterday, Leon Lawrence, 32, of Covent Garden, denied charges of handling stolen and attempting to convert criminal property.
According to The Sun newspaper, 'Sperm Alarm' was stolen from a hotel lobby wall in February last year and posted for sale on eBay for $25,000.
Millionaire graffiti artist Banksy had painted it on a panel at the four-star Hesperica Hotel in central London, according to The Sun.
