Rita Ora says her pop songs will always have grit.
The up-and-coming British artist is signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation. Her debut album, ORA, will be released later this month.
Ora has already enjoyed success with her single R.I.P. and opened for Coldplay on their recent tour.
The star says she's staying true to her musical roots and hopes her fans will appreciate this.
"My whole album is inspired by so many types of music, and my sound will always be pop with grit. I'm just a singer who wants to put smiles on peoples' faces!" she's told Look magazine.
The singer is currently promoting her single How We Do (Party).
"This single was inspired by the Biggie Smalls song Party and Bulls**t," Ora said.
