Elements Art Gallery in Dalkeith presents *The Western Desert Show *, featuring works from the Indigenous community at Tjala Arts. Curated by private collector Jo Lagerberg, the result is a collaborative event between Tjala Arts, some of Perth's most notable voices on Indigenous art and Elements Art Gallery. In 2011, Elements had a sell-out show in conjunction with the Tjala community and the ICEA Foundation. Now Tjala has a new body of work to display, alongside which Elements will show Western Desert works by senior artists such as Tiger Palpatja. The exhibition will be opened by Ted Snell, director of the Cultural Precinct at the University of Western Australia and chairman of the Visual Arts Board of the Australia Council. Proceeds from sales of artworks will be returned to the artists and their community. It runs from April 12-29. For details, visit elementsartgallery.com.au.
