Gotye returns to top of UK charts

Australian singer Gotye has recorded a second week at number one on the UK's Official Singles Chart with Somebody That I Used To Know.

The song, which features New Zealand star Kimbra, fought off new entry Rockstar from Dappy featuring Brian May, which entered at number 2.

Gotye, 31, whose real name is Wally De Backer, had previously been at number one with the song before it slipped to number three.

There were no other new entries in the top 10, the Official UK Charts Company said.

The week's biggest fall was Lana Del Rey's Video Games, which fell 14 places to number 34.

In the album charts, Emeli Sande's Our Version Of Events leapfrogged Adele's 21 to the top spot.

But Bat Out of Hell legend Meatloaf crashed the charts at number 5 with Hell In A Handbasket.

The Cranberries entered the chart at number 37 with Roses, their sixth studio album.
