Heron appoints Azure for Woodlawn

UPDATE 3.10pm: Heron Resources has appointed Azure Capital to advise it on funding options for the staged development of the Woodlawn Zinc-Copper Project in New South Wales.

Heron said the appointment would allow it to evaluate proposals from potential financiers interested in exposure to high-quality, near-term production projects.

“Throughout this process Heron will continue as planned with the fully-funded feasibility study work program with no change to the targeted completion of mid-2016,” the company said in a statement.

“The appointment is another important step in the process to develop the Woodlawn project and follows the April 22 release of the preliminary economic assessment that demonstrates the robust economics and quality of this project.”

Heron shares were off half a cent at 11 cents at the close.
