Len Buckeridge's family have yet to shed any light on the future ownership of BGC despite the recent transfer of the late billionaire's shares in the construction and building products group.

Australian Securities and Investments Commission filings show Mr Buckeridge's ownership of BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd was transferred to the joint control of sons Andrew and Sam Buckeridge last month.

However, the family were quick to prevent any misinterpretations, saying the 100 ordinary shares were "transmitted to Sam and Andrew Buckeridge as co-executors for the purpose of administering" their father's estate.

Len Buckeridge died of a heart attack 13 months ago, aged 77.

Andrew and Sam are directors of BGC with Julian Ambrose, the son of Mr Buckeridge's second wife Tootsie, who holds the companys's only A-class share.
