UPDATE 2.20pm: Bill Healy has replaced Giles Everist as chairman of contractor Decmil.

Mr Everist stepped down to dedicate more time to other interests but will remain as a non-executive director.

Mr Everist joined the company as a non-executive director in January 2010 and was appointed non-executive chairman in December 2011.

Mr Healy has been a director of Decmil since April 2009.

Mr Healy was a founding director and chairman of BOOM Logistics. He was also a director and shareholder of Sealcorp Holdings and a founding director of ASGARD Capital Management.

Decmil shares closed up 1.5 cents at $1.80.
