UPDATE 2pm: Tox Free Solutions says it has renewed waste management contracts with three Kimberley councils.

Five-year extensions have been agreed to with the shires of Broome, Derby/West Kimberley for Derby and Fitzroy Crossing and Wyndham/East Kimberley for Kununurra and Whyndham.

"The contracts are the renewal of the existing waste services that Toxfree has been providing over the last six years in the region and are subject to finalising terms and conditions and signing which is expected to occur in the next few days," the company said in a statement.

Tox Free shares closed steady at $3.42.
