_The Weekend West _ is the only metropolitan or national newspaper to record a circulation rise, according to the latest Audit Bureau of Circulation figures released today.
In the three months to December, sales of _The Weekend West _rose 1.34 per cent, while all other newspapers lost sales.
_The Weekend West _sold an average of 306,479 each week and is the third highest-selling Saturday newspaper in the country.
_The Weekend West _outsells the Sydney Morning Herald, the Age, the Courier-Mail in Queensland and the Advertiser in South Australia.
_The Weekend West _increased its lead over our Sunday opposition. We now outsell the Sunday newspaper by almost 40,000 papers.
Monday to Friday sales of _The West Australian _dropped 5.05 per cent.
Roy Morgan readership figures also released yesterday show _The Weekend West _ is the highest-read newspaper in WA. _West Weekend _magazine is the highest-read magazine in WA, closely followed by Seven Days magazine.
