Emerging local explorer Phoenix Gold has bolstered its team to deliver on 2013 targets at its three gold structures north-west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Managing director Jon Price said the new appointments would enable the company to manage its accelerated 215,000m drill program, complete the definitive feasibility study and manage its transition through project development to production.

Tim Manners has been engaged as the company’s chief financial officer after a recent stint at Bathurst Resources in a similar role.

Mr Price said Mr Manners would be instrumental in reviewing the financial structures as part of the feasibility study and move to development in 2014.

Grant Haywood has been appointed principal mining engineer and will lead the feasibility team and provide engineering support where required.
