Aspen in trading halt

Aspen Group has gone into a trading halt to address speculation around its chief executive, Gavin Hawkins.

The property company said an announcement was pending.

As reported in today's The West Australian, Mr Hawkins and Aspen are rumoured to have parted ways last week.

Phone calls to Aspen and Mr Hawkins have gone unanswered since Friday.

Shares in Aspen have added more than 11 per cent since the speculation surfaced last week and were up to half a cent higher at 35c before this morning's trading halt.
