Sydney Airport gets new CFO
Sydney Airport has appointed a former Macquarie Group executive as its new chief financial officer.
Stephen Mentzines will replace Tim Finlayson from October 2, 2012, Sydney Airport said today.
The airport said Mr Mentzines was previously head of North American funds for the infrastructure and real assets business of Macquarie Group.
Sydney Airport was previously known as MAp Group, a former Macquarie Group fund that held investments in various airports worldwide.
MAp Group became a stand-alone entity in October 2009 after paying a one-off termination fee to Macquarie Group and changed its name to Sydney Airport in 2011 after divesting its interests in all other airports apart from Sydney's Kingsford Smith.
