McAleese down on Atlas contracts

McAleese is warning of a steep drop in full year earnings as it prepares to recommence providing some haulage services to troubled iron ore miner Altas Iron.

McAleese says it will recommence services to the Abydos and Wodgina mines during May, but is still in talks about the Mt Webber mine.

It has also warned that its full year earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation for 2014-15 will fall to about $70 million from $85.3 million last financial year.

Shares in McAleese recommenced trading on Monday after their suspension from trade on April 13. The stock was seven cents, or 43.5 per cent, lower at nine cents by 9.15 this morning.
