ASIC urges Perth liquidator to lift game
Perth liquidator Simon Coad must improve his systems and procedures for insolvency services and have his practice reviewed as part of an enforceable undertaking with corporate regulator ASIC.
The ASIC action follows concerns that the Nedlands-based insolvency practitioner had failed to adequately and properly carry out his duties as a registered liquidator.
Mr Coad operates under the business name Ticcidew Insolvency.
ASIC said concerns about Mr Coad's performance were identified as part of its regular surveillance activities which reviewed several of his external administrations.
ASIC said Mr Coad had acknowledged its views, admitted to failings and taken steps to improve his quality control systems.
