Decmil wins $34m Atlas contract
UPDATE 1.25pm: Decmil has won a $34 million contract for the design and construction of Atlas Iron's Woodstock-Marble Bar Road upgrade and realignment.
The work involves 55km of sealing works, floodways and intersections.
Decmil said it would mobilise later this month with completion expected in May.
Chief executive Scott Criddle said while market conditions within the resources sector remained challenging, the contract added to the group's solid platform for the year ahead and strengthened its position in the construction and civil sectors.
Decmil shares closed up nine cents, or 4.66 per cent, at $2.02.
