UPDATE 1.40pm: Shares in Toxfree Solutions were firmer after the waste management contractor won jobs in the Pilbara and Queensland.

Toxfree said it had won a two-year total waste management contract with Rio Tinto's Dampier Salt division covering Dampier and Port Hedland.

The other two-year contract is with Titan Energy Services in the Surat Basin in Queensland.

The contract includes the provision of waste collection and water services for drilling and camp activities produced from various locations.

Toxfree said estimated revenue was $17 million over the term of the contract with capital expenditure of $2 million over the same period.

Managing director Steve Gostlow said the company already had well established businesses in both the Surat Basin and Pilbara region.

"These contracts will enable us to further improve our productivity and efficiency for all of our clients in the region as the scale of our business continues to expand," he said.

Toxfree shares closed up one cent at $3.30 after hitting an intraday high of $3.35.
