Man charged over Balga death
Police at No 61 Coniston Way, Balga where a man was run over and died.

Police have charged a 39-year-old Cloverdale man over the death of his friend who was allegedly run over at a house in Balga overnight.

According to police the 39-year-old, along with a man, 66, went to a house in Coniston Way last night to visit friends.

When they were leaving the house shortly before 11pm the 39-year-old man allegedly reversed his car into the 66-year-old man, driving over him. He died at the scene.

The Cloverdale man has been charged with drink driving and driving with no authority. He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on December 24.
