Prada boutique hit by blast

Prada boutique in King Street was damaged after an explosion and attempted break-in at the store overnight.

Police are investigating an incident at the prestigious store around 1.30am after reports of a loud explosion outside the premises.

Police attended and found fire damage to the area surrounding the front door.

Two people were seen in the area at the time – a man wearing long dark coloured pants, a t-shirt, and dark coloured shoes.

He was in company with a woman, with a waist length jacket, long dark coloured pants, and dark shoes.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
