Two women are facing drink driving charges after allegedly blowing over the limit in separate incidents while driving around Bunbury with young children yesterday.

About 5.25pm, police stopped a 31-year-old woman driving a Ford Festiva on Picton Road.

There were three children in the car aged between one and 11 years old.

The woman allegedly returned a blood alcohol content reading of more than 0.08 per cent.

She has been charged excess 0.08 and is due to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on June 25.

About an hour later, officers stopped a Nissan travelling on Blair Street and breath-tested the female driver.

She had two children in the car aged between four and six.

The woman was charged with excess 0.08 and is scheduled to face the Bunbury Magistrates Court on July 9.
