Day dreaming cyclist slams into parked car
Footage of a cyclist slamming into a parked car has gone viral and demonstrated the importance of keeping your eyes on the road.
The incident was captured on the dash cam of a car, being driven by a learner driver and trainer in Liverpool, England.
The video shows the cyclist looking down watching his gears as he speeds towards the vehicle.
The bicycle’s front wheel then crashes into the back of the car and the cyclist is thrown into the rear window before landing hard on the ground.
The person who posted it on the internet wrote: “the car didn't appear to be damaged but I noticed later on a dent on the car which I had not seen, I was distracted by the cyclist who's (sic) face was pouring with blood you can see on full video."
The cyclist came away with a cut on his cheek. The video shows blood streaming out of the wound.
He reportedly cycled home before seeking medical help.
