Head injuries after overtaking crash

A 31 year-old-man received head injuries last night, when he lost control of his car on the Indian Ocean Drive, 40km north of Leeman.

Police allege both he and the driver in front tried to overtake a vehicle at the same time, while travelling north on the highway.
He lost control of his car and it rolled in nearby bush.

He was transferred to Jurien Bay by St John Ambulance, before being flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC helicopter, where he is currently in a stable condition.

The passenger in the car received minor injuries.

The drivers of the two other vehicles were unharmed.
