[|G] uests at next week’s Logies had best be warned — hurricane [|Joel Creasey] is coming.

On the back of a whirlwind year, which included his recent star turn on I’m a Celebrity ..... Get Me Out of Here!, the Perth comedian will walk the red carpet at the TV awards next Sunday for the first time.

He will have media personality and I’m a Celebrity bestie [|Chrissie Swan] on his arm, a snazzy suit and a plan to make his debut a memorable one.

“I sort of left preparations to the last minute but I have a team of people working on an outfit,” Creasey revealed to [|AAA Weekend] .

“It is going to be quite bright because I want to make a list. I don’t care if it’s the worst-dressed list; I just want to make a list.

“So many of the people I tease in my stand-up act will be there. I am hoping I have maybe a random pash with [|Kerri-Anne] ( [|Kennerley] ), fingers crossed my Logies dream comes true.”

Appearing on the reality show was a winning move for Creasey, who has been fielding countless opportunities ever since he left the South African jungle last month.

The 24-year-old has made no secret of the fact that he is keen to launch his own talk show, a goal that appears to be closer than ever now.

“I filmed a pilot for a talk show a while ago which is out there and interest in that is really spiking,” Creasey said. “I have had other offers too, so it’s just about working out which show is right for me. It’s definitely going to be on TV and will more than likely be with Chrissie.”

But now it’s back to the stage for Creasey, who has week brought his new stand-up show The Hurricane home to [|WA] for the [|Perth Comedy Festival] after premiering at [|Fringe World] in January.

He will then tour other capital cities before the US and beyond with his previous hit show Rock God, which will also provide a chance to reunite with his Los Angeles-based actor boyfriend [|Jeffery Self] , who Creasey hasn’t seen since January.

“He is very successful in his own right, so he is flat out at the moment,” Creasey said with a smile.

“It’s hard because when he gets a job or when I get a job you have to be excited for one another but also manage your disappointment. But I actually quite enjoy doing long distance because we are both workaholics so I can knuckle down and work when I am in Australia without him.”

The Hurricane is on at [|Heath Ledger Theatre ] on Tuesday and Thursday but is sold out.
