Alleged ATM theft with loader

Stolen loader alleged in ATM theft

An Albany man will appear in court today, charged over the alleged removal of an ATM with earthmoving equipment.

Police allege the 42-year-old man was involved in the removal of the ATM from a bank in Youngenup Street, Gnowangerup, on December 21 last year.

Police allege a stolen loader was used to steal the machine, causing extensive damage to the building.

The man will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today after he was arrested in Rivervale last night.

The man has been charged with three counts of Burglary; two counts of Steal Motor Vehicle and two counts of Stealing.
