Man to face dog stab charge
A 72-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stabbing a dog in Seville Grove.
Police say the man was walking two dogs on Chisholm Circle yesterday when another dog approached.
It is alleged he stabbed the dog with a knife when it approached his pets a second time.
The dog suffered a deep cut above the left shoulder and was taken to a veterinary clinic. It is expected to survive.
The man was charged with causing an an animal unnecessary harm and is due to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court next month.
