Lotto luck strikes WA three times

A triple dose of Lotto luck struck WA at the weekend with three Division 1 Lotto tickets - each worth $1.6 million - sold in Saturday night's $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

The winning tickets were sold at Jackpot Lottery Centre in Mirrabooka, Forrestfield Marketplace News and Lotterywest Play Online.

It is the second Division 1 Lotto ticket Forrestfield Marketplace News has sold in less than two years.

Jessi Kuhn who works at the Forrestfield outlet said they were hoping another big win was just around the corner.

"We'd been telling many of our customers that it wouldn't be long until a big win and we got one! It's great news and we're hoping it's one of our regular customers," she said.

Ms Kuhn said a few lucky charms in the outlet, including a Buddha, four-leaf clover and an elephant may have contributed to the store's luck.

WA's Superdraw success brings WA's Division 1 winner's tally to 20 for the year. The winners share in more than $30 million worth of prizes.

Lotterywest raising more than $4 million from the Superdraw to help support the WA community.

WA community groups to receive this support include the Metropolitan Migrant Resource Centre in Mirrabooka which received a $35,000 Lotterywest Grant last year to help people in financial hardship.
