A Bridgetown man is facing more than 300 charges relating to an alleged two-year crime spree.

Police this week laid 206 charges against the 53-year-old man, adding to the 100 other offences he had already been charged with.

The transactions involved 76,220kg of scrap metal worth $52,030.

The man was charged with 165 counts of fraud, 10 counts of burglary, and 31 counts of stealing.
