Perth's Daniel Dawson and American Glen Tapia have both made weight for their North American Boxing Organisation light-middleweight title fight in Macau on Saturday night.

Dawson came in at 153.4lb (69.6kg) for the 10-round clash, while Tapia was bang on the 154lb (69.9kg) limit.

"Weigh-in done and dusted. NABO title ready to go tomorrow night. I'm ready to win the title and bring some fireworks," Dawson said.

Dawson's manager Mike Altamura told thewest.com.au that victory for the 36-year-old would guarantee him a top-10 ranking with the World Boxing Organisation, with a possibility he could go top five.

"If he emerges victorious and impresses then there is every chance he could fight for the WBO title next," Altamura said.

Dawson, who has lost just four times in 45 fights, is coming off a points loss to Austin Trout in California last August, when he had the former world champion on the deck twice in round three.

He said he was expecting an equally difficult night against New Jersey's Tapia, who has won 22 of his 23 bouts and is 11 years younger than Dawson.

The fight is being streamed live in Australia on the Top Rank website on Saturday night from 8pm.
